It’s never too late to find true love. Just ask any of the millions of singles over 50 who are currently enjoying the mature dating scene. In fact, according to a recent survey, more than 60% of singles over 50 are open to the idea of getting married again. Whether you’re divorced, widowed, or have never been married, it’s never too late to find happiness. With so many singles over 50 looking for love, there’s no reason why you can’t be one of them. There are a number of ways to get started, from joining a dating site, attending a singles event or like many of my “Mature Bride & Grooms” at church.

So, if you’re ready to find joy, happiness, and love later in life, then don’t give up hope & check out these two beautiful couples who found love after 50!

One of my beautiful brides, told me she waited her whole life to find her partner and that she couldn’t wait to be his wife. I was truly honored to be apart of their special day, this particular couple chose to elope just the two of them at the Surf Hotel in Buena Vista, Colorado. Immediately, after meeting this sweet couple it was apparent that they shared a love that might only be possible with age and wisdom. The way they interacted with each other, with patients & appreciation, that many young couples are still learning. I mean look at this Grooms emotion as he made life long commitment to his beautiful Bride & God.

Both of the couples that I am featuring in this blog, sited God as bringing them together. The couples chose very different wedding day ceremonies one was private elopement with just the two of them and the other was ceremony & reception that included family & friends.

After posting these beautiful wedding photos on social media, I had many “mature” men & women reach out saying that the these couples gave them hope. I wanted to share these love stories and beautiful photographs, for people over 50 years old who might be still searching for love. It is possible, I’ve seen these beautiful love stories first hand!!

After talking with many of my “Mature Brides & Grooms,” here are some tips on how to navigate the mature dating scene and find true love:

1. Be open and honest about your intentions it’s important to be clear about what you’re looking for in a relationship. Whether you’re seeking companionship, a long-term commitment, or marriage, be honest and upfront about your intentions. Your at that point in your life where you don’t want to waste your time, so just put it all out there!!

2. Embrace your age don’t let age hold you back from pursuing love and happiness, use the wisdom and life experience that comes with it. You are a unique and valuable individual, and there is someone out there who will appreciate and cherish you for who you are.

3. Take it slow, you’ve waited this long, so why rush the process now? Take the time to get to know someone and build a connection. Enjoy the journey, and don’t put pressure on yourself or your partner to progress faster than you’re both comfortable with.

4. Put yourself out there, don’t be afraid to try new things. Attend social events, join a club or hobby group, join a church, play in the local pickleball league or sign up for online dating sites. The more you put yourself out there, the more opportunities you’ll have to meet new people and potentially find love. I know it sounds scary to put yourself out there but after witnessing so many beautiful couples later in life, I want you to encourage you to do it anyways!!

5. Pray about it, listen for answers, and don’t lose hope!

6. Trust your instincts, listen to your gut. If something doesn’t feel right, it probably isn’t. Trust yourself to make the best decisions for yourself and your future happiness. Finding love later in life can be a beautiful and rewarding experience.

Remember to be patient, stay positive, and keep an open mind. With the right attitude and approach, you can find the love and companionship you deserve.
