Your Wedding Day & How To Fully Enjoy It!!

Your wedding day is one of the most important days of your life. It’s a day when you will be surrounded by your closest family and friends, and you will be pledging your love to the person you want to spend the rest of your life with. On this day, you will want to look and feel your best. Here are some tips for both partners to ensure your day is as amazing as the day you’ve been dreaming of!!

Wedding days are a momentous occasion for any couple, often coming with a raft of emotions, from a thrilling mixture of excitement and anticipation, to possible bouts of stress and anxiety. For brides and grooms to make the most of their special day, it is helpful to consider a few key tips.

One of the most important aspects of a wedding day is to savor the moment and enjoy the special feeling of being married whether your eloping or marrying in front of your family and friends. By allowing yourself to be present in the moment rather than worrying about what you should and shouldn’t be doing, y’all can fully experience the day.

For both partners, it’s important to remember that the day isn’t just about the ceremony or other wedding formalities. It’s a celebration and ideally an opportunity to have an enjoyable time with family and friends. With that said, I personally think its extremely important to schedule in at least a few minutes on your big day for just the two of you. I suggest scheduling that time, right after the ceremony & family portraits, as this time can be intense for everyone involved. Having this alone time built into your big day will ensure y’all don’t miss the opportunity to take a moment to appreciate what has just happened and exchange a few words with each other in private. Plus, y’all can give yourself 5 minutes to breath before everyone wants to congratulate on your nuptials.

Having an established plan can be advantageous in terms of keeping the day organized and running smoothly. However, it can also be helpful to allow some flexibility in the plan, so that y’all aren’t stuck to strict timetables and can find moments to relax and enjoy their special day. Plus, things might pop up here & there and that flexibility will allow you to enjoy your day no matter what.

Another tip is to consider the practical side on the day. Y’all will want to make sure everything is well organized in terms of timings and transport, and that people know their next steps. Preparation is key here, as having everything in order beforehand, including emergency contact details, can save a great amount of stress on the day itself. But honestly, my suggestions here is to hire a wedding planner or coordinator who can be the point person for all of this so you can just sit back & enjoy the day!! A planner would literally take care of everything, if that sounds like a dream, well that because it is!!!

Finally, the most important tip might be one of the simplest. While it might feel like a whirlwind, taking the time to fully appreciate your wedding day and acknowledging all the support from family and friends can be a great source of positivity. Brides and grooms should take moments to pause and consider how lucky they are to have such wonderful people in their lives and to be married to someone.
